Hi Pastor Simon, I try my best to live every day the way I know I should. It seems like no matter how many times I remind myself I find myself getting caught up in the day-to-day stresses. Unfortunately I have a chronic illness that results in tiredness and crankiness so that doesn't help. Anyways I was wondering if you had any tips on how I could remind myself during those daily stresses to relax and be positive as I should be? Thanks
Um... I'm not sure why I'm on this website. Anyways, I was just wondering, do all Christians rely solely on faith? What about science? It seems to me that it is really unlikely that all the science behind evolution and the big bang is flat out wrong...
Just listened to the sermon, I have been very scattered and stressed. The issue you told me to dismiss from my mind is still there, don't know why I try not to think about it. The way I feel that something is amiss, a temporal change/ripple. A distortion in time, Sometimes I feel like Iam doing a rewind/fastward/play with time, at least in my mind.
I have been called to preach and have been ordained and preached for the past ten years, but I am a divorced man. I don't believe this makes any difference but I want to know how other pastors feel.

Dears, what do you think about change of moral in time?
Is replacement theology bibical or does God still have a plan for Israel? Are they still his chosen people?
Here is the reason for all those question. There was a 16yr old athlete who died after making a winning shot. For some reason this particular incident is gnawing at me. I personally did not know this person. I have dreams at this person plot at the cemetary. Since his death I have felt something is not as it should be. I suppose to act to do something . I try to get this out my head, as this has happen two months ago and it is not going away.

Hi Gregory, The answer really is taking up some relevant scripture promises and getting to know them by heart through pondering them and so memomising them. For example, the other night I woke at 3am and my mind immediately was so active I couldn't go back to sleep. Then I prayed for sleep and started running in my mind the good scriptures I knew by heart about sleep and resting in the Lord. Before long I was back to sleep.
Hi Kelly, Nice to see your post. Science and the Christian faith actually work in two different realms of existence. Science focuses on discovery in the natural realm while the Christian faith focuses on the discovery of God in the spiritual realm with the help of the guiding words of Jesus Christ. Jesus called God his father and invited you and me to discover Him likewise as our heavenly father. To follow this invitation is to open a safe door into the spiritual realm, a realm of the heart where spiritual relationships can be known and valued.
Hi Bobbie, I remember though that I didn't just say "Dismiss it from your mind" I also gave counsel on how to go about doing this as a matter of taking authority over what your mind was busying itself with. I also remember that what was troubling your mind was an incident in which a young athlete personally unknown to you died suddenly. It's time to let go of that. Wrap the incident up in a spiritual parcel and hand it over to God for some future time when, if it's worthwhile, He'll disclose its significance to you.

Hi SEI, The apostle Paul makes it very plain that God has a future for Israel in Romans 11 verses 24 to 27. Once their blindness to God's salvation in Christ Jesus is removed they will grafted back into the olive tree and thus take their rightful place alongside of us who have been grafted in.
Hi Bobbie, It is time to dismiss this from your mind. Whenever God presents us with things to attend to He puts them in our heart with a sense of warmth and encouragement. Things in our mind that bother us usually need to be taken charge over. The mind must be under our authority. Jesus' exhortation, "In your patience possess ye your souls." has this sense to it. Hi Bobbie, Your second to last question was, "Are you really going to know anyone in heaven?" Yes, we are. How do we know this? Because Jesus told of the story of a beggar and a rich man who both died. He then tells us that the rich man in Hades recognised the beggar from a far off. Luke 16:19-31.
Hi Bobbie, Going back to your questions, the final one in your list was, "Where do you find the answers to all these questions?" The answer is in the Bible and particularly in the teachings of Jesus as found in the Gospels. My next answer will give you an example.
